Homemade granola

After a year of trial and error, I have finally perfected what I believe to be the ultimate granola recipe. It's the perfect blend of crunchy oats, cacao and seeds, with just the right amount of sweetness from honey and vanilla. 

This granola is so satisfying and versatile, as it can be enjoyed with yogurt, milk, or even as a snack on its own. Give it a try and taste the difference that a year of dedication can make!


Ingredients
Dry ingredients:

  • 250 gr oatmeal
  • 40 gr sesame seeds
  • 85 gr sunflower seeds
  • 85 gr pumpkin seeds
  • 50 gr coconut shavings
  • 40 gr linseed
  • 40 gr cacao nibs
  • 40 gr chia seed
  • 85 gr brown sugar

Optional ingredients that you can add to the dry ingredients:

  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • 110 gr nuts

Wet ingredients:

  • 150 ml sunflower oil
  • 150 ml water
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp honey

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 175 degrees Celsius (347 F).
  • First, mix all the dry ingredients together in a bowl. In another bowl, mix all the wet ingredients. 
  • Add the wet ingredients to the dry ones and mix well.
  • Divide the granola over two baking sheets and put in the oven for 15 minutes. 
  • After 15 minutes, toss everything and return it to the oven for another 10 minutes.
  • After baking, let cool for a while and store in an airtight container
